Taller characters are better at parrying, but suffer a penalty to dodging, just as heavier characters are slower but have more health. You can select everything from the character's species and hairstyle to their, combat specialty. Clicking the EDIT/NEW buttons brings up the character creation screen. You can edit any of the four gladiators joining your adventure, but only the first gladiator can be saved. Only gladiators you create yourself can be saved. Human opponents are always more fun, unpredictable and interesting than computer controlled opponents.Īfter you have selected how many opponents, you can load a previously saved gladiator, use a-randomly generated gladiator or create a new one from scratch. You can also select HUMAN or COMPUTER controlled gladiators - if you have a few friends over, try a "hotseat" multiplayer game. You can select 2, 3 or 4 gladiators to join the quest - more gladiators means more fighting, more gold and more experience, but also longer adventures.
